Welcome to Hockey Hype Australia’s official website!

Firstly, thank you for your support and interest in the greatest sport (in our opinion) on the planet – ice hockey. Australia has a rich ice hockey history, and we are looking forward to the sport reaching even greater heights with the impact of the NHL Global Series in Melbourne.

We started our countdown on socials 20 days before our website launch, and featured ten Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) players, one from each team, and ten Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League (AWIHL) players, two from each team.

Hockey Hype Australia has secured Media Accreditation for the NHL Global Series in Melbourne. Both of our co-founders will be at the event.

Additionally, Hockey Hype Australia will be providing coverage of the 2023-24 AWIHL season, covering the road to the Joan McKowen Memorial Trophy.
