The Burgers are Always Better at the AIHL Finals

Why are the burgers always better at the AIHL Finals? Because Hungry Jack’s has become the official major sponsor of the 2024 AIHL Finals series held at Melbourne’s O’Brien Icehouse.

It was exciting to hear the announcement by the AIHL last month of Hungry Jack’s coming on board as major sponsor of the Finals weekend in 2024.

It has been a few years since the league last had a major Finals sponsorship. The last being Air Canada, whose deal with the league expired at the end of 2018.

So, it is great news bringing someone new onboard. What’s more, bringing on a national brand like Hungry Jack’s is an important marker for a still relatively niche sport in Australia.

Hopefully this is the first in many national brand partnerships the league can secure.

There is huge upside for hockey growth in Australia. It’s starting from such a small base. Corporate partnerships can help propel that further.

There are plenty of synergies between different corporate cultures and the sport hockey in Australia. The scope for the AIHL to strike mutual benefit partnerships is broad. I hope it is explored more in the future.

What will you see of the partnership at Finals

Hungry Jack’s will have prominent presence throughout the three-day event between 23-25 August 2024.

Hungry Jack’s branding will be present on the ice and throughout the arena. There will be special activities and promotions run during the event to make it an unforgettable experience.

I will be disappointed if there is no opportunity to eat a Hungry Jack’s whopper or cheeseburger at the Icehouse. After all, the burgers are always better at the AIHL Finals brought to you by Hungry Jack’s.

One thing is for sure, it’s definitely going to be a whopper of a weekend.
