Sean is a founding team member. He is dedicated to seeing Australian hockey grow and is excited to be leading the Oz Hockey Media team who share this vision.

A hockey fan who loves to unleash his creative side in producing hockey graphics, Sean also dabbles in hockey stats, wiki updating and talking about Australian hockey.

Sean hopes to contribute to delivering content in a fun and interesting way across the Oz Hockey Media network.

Tristan Metcalfe

Chief Statistician

Tristan is a founding team member. He is a big nerd and enjoys combining a love for spreadsheets with love for hockey.

Having been a fan, mascot and volunteer around the AIHL for over a decade, Tristan is hoping to dig up some slightly obscure and hopefully interesting statistical bits and pieces around hockey.

Tristan loves working with enthusiastic and committed people who contribute to the growth of hockey in Australia.

Phil Taylor

Head of Photography

Phil has years of experience snapping the important moments in Australian ice hockey in Melbourne, Australia.

Phil is Head of Photography for the AIHL and helps coordinate a strong working relationship between Oz Hockey Media, the AIHL and photographers working around Australia.

Courtney Kynaston

Social Media Manager & Podcast Host

Courtney is a founding team member. She is passionate about social media management, ice hockey, and bringing those two things together as part of the Oz Hockey Media team.

Courtney brings over 15 years’ experience in digital marketing and writing to the team. She is excited to grow the sport and bring ice hockey to more Australians.

Court sees this platform as a perfect tool to achieve these goals for hockey at all levels, from grass-roots to top-tier.

Lynda Holt

Para Hockey Expert

As a former Paralympian, Lynda won silver in shot put and discus at the Sydney 2000 Paralympics.

Lynda’s passion for sports has now led her to Para Ice Hockey, marking a new and exhilarating chapter in her athletic journey. Completely hooked on the sport, Lynda is eager to explore its possibilities and challenges.

Lynda is excited to be part of the Oz Hockey Media team, bringing all the latest news and updates on Para Ice Hockey, sharing her enthusiasm and experiences with this dynamic and inspiring community.

Alyssa Longmuir

Alyssa is passionate about women’s hockey sports data analysis and statistics.

She tracks, digitises and analysis historic and modern hockey and Olympic data. She builds tools and runs workshops and twitch streams to demystifying the process behind data science.

Alyssa writes for a number of publications including the Athletic, The Ice Garden, Hockey-Graphs, and the AIHL.
